BIO
B. Patrick Agnew was born and raised in Southwest Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Liberty University where he studied philosophy and government. Patrick received his law degree from the Regent University School of Law.
Patrick's practice focuses primarily on handling Virginia Workers Compensation Cases, Social Security Disability claims, Auto Accidents and evaluating cases under the Jones Act and the Federal Employee's Liability Act. A substantial part of Patrick's practice involves representing injured workers. Patrick has a long family history of blue-collar workers in Central and Southwest Virginia and is has the belief that a strong and protected workforce is a cornerstone of Virginia's economy and society.
Patrick has litigated claims throughout the state of Virginia since being admitted to the Virginia Bar in 2004. Patrick has represented clients from nearly every city and county in Virginia including the Eastern Shore, Richmond, Petersburg, Powhatan, Chesterfield, Greene County, Charlottesville, Amherst, Bedford, Campbell, Lynchburg, Danville, and Northern Virginia, Abingdon, Christiansburg, Roanoke and many places in between.
Patrick has been recognized by Virginia Business Legal Elite and maintains an excellent reputation with his clients and legal peers. He is a member of the Lynchburg Bar Association, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. Patrick has served on the Session of Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg as an Elder for several years.
Away from the office, Patrick enjoys spending time with his two children and wife. He enjoys participating in and watching virtually any sporting event and, if he had his way, would be outside most of the time. Patrick has become involved with property rehabilitation in Downtown Lynchburg.
